3. Structure feature of S9 series 10KV Copper winding off-load tap changer transformer

3.1 Iron core

The iron core is made of cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel sheet. Laminations are cut to length on GEORG cut-to-length line with step-lap cut and automatic stacking functions. The multi-step lamination structure can reduce the loss and noise. The steel sheet in the core limbs and yokes are clamped together by glass-epoxy bonds.
