Indoor High Voltage Metal - Clad Air Insulated Switchgear Structure operation principle

7.1 Description

KYN10-40.5 series AC metal-clad switchgear is the latest self-designed and developed version of switchgear absorbing and digesting advanced technology in domestic and abroad for satisfying domestic specification. It is a metal-clad type of switchgear, and it consists of two components, one is main body and another component is truck. According to the different manufacture manners, it has two types: main body can weld by sectioned steel and bent steel, it also can assemble by import coating aluminum-zinc plates, after CNC machine manufactured and bent the plates. The protection degree of this switchgear enclosure will reach IP4X.

The circuit break truck adopts floor-type structure, according to customer requirement, equipped with vacuum circuit break, such as ZN23,ZN12,3AH, etc.

7.2 The enclosure and clap-broad adopt cool-rolled sheet or import coating aluminum-zinc plates manufactured and bent by CNC machine to assemble. It can ensure dimension unitarity and has high mechanical intensity after assembling. We shall use electrostatic painting to coat switchgear door. The surface shall be beautiful, impulse proof and corrosion resistant.

7.3 Truck frame is welded and bent by cool-rolled sheet. According to use, it shall be equipped with circuit breaker truck ,voltage transformer truck,current transformer truck and isolating truck, etc. The height and depth of different trucks shall be the same, the same standard trucks can change. Circuit breaker truck has two position inside cubicle, one is “operation” and another is “testing/isolating”. Each position has location lockage device to ensure that truck can operate in each special position.

7.4 Finger system

Conductive device between fixed contact of primary circuit and moving contact of truck not only use petal type, but also use duck-billed finger structure. When truck swing into or out, finger system shall be divided smoothly, truck shall be operated convenient.

7.5 Cell compartment

Main electric elements in switchgear has substantive cell compartment, it can prevent accident extending to adjacent compartment. Switchgear can divided into circuit breaker room,busbar room,cable room,relay room. Each cell compartment will be earthed separate. 200 mm² common earth busbar will be arranged in cubicle along the range direction, earthing safe and reliable.

a. Circuit breaker room: arrange orbit along the both sides of base to let truck inside and outside the room. Truck can be operated when switchgear broad in closing condition, we can know the position,closing and opening indication,energy storage condition of truck through notice window equipped on the switchgear broad.

b. Busbar room: main busbar is made of copper or aluminum, contact surface coating zinc (copper busbar) and covering thermal shrinkage insulation layer.

c. Cable room: It can be equipped with current transformer,voltage transformer,earthing switch,lighting arrester and cable link copper busbar. The base plate is made of magnetic resist metal plate which can be taken down. It use cable fixed clamp to install and fasten cable.

d. Relay instrument room: There are relay protective elements,instruments,live motoring indicator and other equipments. On the topper board, it has small busbar trough and pole for installation. It has enough space to lay controlling cable and secondary winding in the left trough. The left trough is prepared for outside-link controlling cable. The terminal block is door-waver type structure inside the room. Except that, the microcomputer protective connector can be draw-out from this room.

7.6 Pressure-release device

On the top of circuit breaker, busbar room and cable room, it shall be equipped with pressure-release device. It has fault proof function to ensure safety of operate worker and switchgear.

7.7 Moist and corrosive proof

Circuit breaker room and cable room shall be equipped with heater and temperature & humidity sensor respectively, use moist controller equipped in relay room to prevent moist and decrease corrosion.

7.8 Live indicator

switchgear shall be equipped with live indicator to measure primary circuit live condition, it shall be coordinate with electric magnetic lock to prevent closing earth switch with power,coming into live department un-correctly. This device is composed of high voltage sensor and indicator. The indicator is equipped on the instrument door.

7.9 Switchgear has precise mechanical and electric interlock. The interlock meets “five-proof” requirements of domestic power department.

a. When circuit breaker and earth switch is on the opening position, truck can be moved from test/insolate position to operate position, vice versa. It is depended on mechanical interlock to reach.

b. Circuit breaker can be closed, when circuit truck is on test or operate position. It is depended on mechanical interlock to reach.

c. Earth switch can be closed, when truck on the test/insolate or removed position and winding has no power; when earth switch is closing, truck can not be moved from test/insolate to operate position. It is depended on mechanical interlock to reach.

d. There is reliable electric lock between subsection cubicle and counter cubicle; it shall be not equipped with load interlock before all the transformers have incoming and outgoing position.

7.10 Measure instrument,relay protection device and secondary circuit

a. Measure instrument,relay protection device and secondary circuit are equipped in relay instrument room. Relay instrument room is an independent department. It links with switchgear by cushion pad. With this, measure instrument and relay protection device will not operated un-correctly because of vibration caused by circuit breaker in switchgear; it also ensure enough safe distance from high voltage live parts and maintenance worker will not reach high voltage conductor when it is operating.

      b. Secondary circuit lead adopts copper conductor and has enough section, current circuit is not less than 2.5mm², voltage circuit and controlling circuit are not less than 1.5mm²;

c. Secondary terminal is import from Germany William DeMille company. All the auxiliary contact point in switchgear lead to terminal block, so terminal block shall has enough spare terminal. Terminal block connection plate and fixed bolt are made of copper, the mark shall be correct,integral,clear and fixed.

a. Upon ordering, user shall provide primary main circuit scheme system diagram,switchgear layout diagram ,secondary circuit principle diagram and terminal layout diagram.

b. Type,specification and quantity of primary and secondary elements in truck switchgear.

c. Enclosure color, if has no special requirement, we will accordance with manufacture standard.

d. User want to use zinc oxide lighting arrester to absorb the over-voltage, please propose the requirement upon ordering.

e. If truck cubicle will be used in special condition, please propose upon ordering.

f. If user has other requirements, please propose upon ordering.
